The Playwright and Stage Actors are the thing for me - from the timeless social comment of Arthur Miller to the caustic genius of David Mamet and chats with actors from Corner Gas - Eric Peterson to Slings and Arrows - Stephen Ouimette.

This Wednesday June 9 Magnetic North Artistic Director Ken Cameron, and two of Canada's most savvy and insightful award winning playwrights -Magnetic North Artistic Associates Robert Chafe ( AfterImage, Tempting Providence) and Marcus Youssef - (A Line in the Sand, Ali and Ali and the Axes of Evil) plus The MT Space's Artistic Director Majdi Bou Matar and his powerful collaborative piece The Last 15 Seconds - also one of the showbill plays of Magnetic North.

Thursday June 10 From 2 pm to 4pm -special guest Canadian folk singing raconteur David Francey who comes to town in support of his new documentary Burning Bright - Part of The Princess Cinema's Canada Film Days and David also performs live at the Princess June 10.
ALSO June 10 - From 4:30 to 6pm - Edmonton's avant darlings Christian Hansen and the Autistics who play Maxwell's Music House Friday June 11. AND maybe .... Toronto avant darlings
Blue Venus who play The Victoria Park Boathouse Sat June 12.

Magnetic North Canada's traveling progressive English speaking theatre showcase is coming to Kitchener from June 9 to June 19, 2010.

I was at CKMS for nine years, but have actually been involved with the station since 1979.
CORAL FM WON THE SONIC BOOM AWARD FOR BEST CURRENT AFFAIRS SHOW TWO YEARS RUNNING. BUT I LEFT CKMS June 27, 2008.
And now, I am BACK for yet ANOTHER reincarnation of CORAL FM on SOUND FM EVERY WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON FROM 4 TO 6 PM.
